Terms of Service
Last updated September 30, 2026
These terms apply to bookings made through www.aurora-sol.com for private captained harbor cruises aboard the M/V Aurora Sol in Marina del Rey, California. By booking, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your group.
Bookings and payment
- A reservation is confirmed once payment is complete and you receive a confirmation email.
- Payment is taken securely by Stripe at the time of booking. Prices are shown before you pay.
- The person who books must be at least 18 and is responsible for the group following these terms.
Cancellation and rescheduling
- 48 hours or more before your reservation: full refund.
- Less than 48 hours before: 50% refund, or reschedule to a future available date for a $200 rescheduling fee.
- Same day: no refund and no rescheduling.
- Weather or captain-initiated cancellation: if the captain decides conditions are unsafe and cancels, you receive a full refund or may reschedule at no charge.
Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made by calling (818) 641-7001 or replying to your confirmation email.
Guests and capacity
Every cruise is private. The vessel carries no more than 22 passengers, including children, and we cannot board more than the number booked or the legal limit.
Boarding and timing
Boarding details are in your confirmation email. Please arrive on time: the cruise ends at its scheduled time, and late arrival does not extend it. Parking is not included.
Food, drink and belongings
- Aurora Sol is bring-your-own. Guests may bring food and beverages; we provide bottled water and ice.
- Alcohol may be brought and consumed only by guests of legal drinking age, and responsibly.
- You are responsible for your belongings and decorations, and for leaving the vessel as you found it. Damage beyond normal use may be charged to the person who booked.
Safety and the captain's authority
The captain is responsible for the safety of everyone aboard. Guests must follow the captain's and crew's instructions. The captain may change the route, shorten the cruise, or end it and return to the dock if conditions are unsafe or a guest's behavior endangers others; a cruise ended because of guest conduct is not refunded.

Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you book applies to that booking.
